Space Heating

Bruest Catalytic Heaters provide direct infrared heating, which is excellent for keeping any industrial space warm. These heaters are especially helpful for hazardous locations as they are rated for installation by CSA for Class I Division 1 Group D and by FM for Class I Division 2 Group D Locations. Bruest heaters are frequently used by the oil and gas industry for heating buildings such as metering and compressor stations, with the purpose of keeping personnel warm and to prevent the process lines from freezing up or preventing condensatio buildup. Compressor stations, rated as hazardous areas, typically have high ventilation rates, which cycle warm air out of the building and pull in cooler air from outside. Bruest heaters are ideal for heating this type of space because the infrared heat they emit is not directly affected by the ventilation, keeping the immediate space warm even as fresh, cool air is cycled into the building.

Garages

Where compressed natural gas may be used, are often open and well-ventilated areas, and the infrared emitted by Bruest heaters will keep personnel warm even as cool air flows through the area.

Unloading docks & general workspaces

The heaters heat objects and is not affected by the cool air. The operator will feel the warmth even with the cool air - Industrial warehouses where hazardous material are stored - the heater's safety ratings allows them to be used to keep the hazardous material from freezing
